Tandarook Botanic Gardens

Tandarook Botanic Gardens

Tandarook Botanic Gardens, established in 1981, are located in a part of town and on a property that has had many uses.

Walking through the gardens today visitors would be surprised to hear that the park was once the site of a quarry used to make the famous “Cobden” red brick and even used as the town rubbish tip before being beautifully rehabilitated.

The picturesque setting and good amenities mean the park is host to many weddings and events and has a sheltered rotunda, walking paths, toilets and BBQ.
