Immerse yourself in nature with a sprinkle of Irish charm in the Volcanic Lakes & Plains… 🍀

Located in the historic Irish township of Koroit you’ll be sure to experience Irish hospitality at its most charming. The Koroit-Tower Hill Caravan Park is only a five-minute walk to the Koroit town centre and is located at the beautiful and historic Botanic Gardens.

The park is ideally placed right on the doorstep of the Tower Hill State Game Reserve, an inactive volcano where you can enjoy a picnic or walk around the crater to see its wildlife or to study its geology and rich indigenous cultural history.

What do you get when lava solidifies on top of a surface and molten lava continues to flow underneath? If you guessed an intricate connection of tubes (referred to today as caves) below the surface, then you guessed right!

This is exactly what happened when lava flow from Mount Napier (Victoria’s youngest volcano) last erupted 30,000 years ago, creating the magnificent state park we see today around its base.
